Elder Peggy "Terri" Mitchell
Elder Peggy “Terri” Mitchell is a licensed Minister with the heart of a servant. Her sensitivity and compassion to the needs of others has led her to minister to those confined to their homes, hospitalized, in nursing homes and in street evangelism. She firmly believes that change is inevitable to those who have a willing heart and mind to believe the trials of their past can be turned into a great purpose for God.
Elder Mitchell joined the United States Army after graduating from high school. She served as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Driver, Office Staff, Repair & Utilities Supervisor and represented the United States Army in sport activities. It was during her tenure in the service that she learned to be discipline both physically and mentally.
She accepted the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ while serving time in prison. It was here that she started on her journey and discovery of God. She began to seek God’s face to get a better understanding of His Kingdom and His Word. She learned to become a prayer warrior to fight against the tactics of the kingdom of darkness. When released, she began ministering to the lost souls on the streets. She recognized the need to reach men and women and witness to them the good news of Jesus Christ. Her passion to see people saved and to bring souls to the Kingdom of God is still evident today. Elder Mitchell has been a faithful member and leader for the last 15 years in Kingdom Ministries Church where Overseer Patricia Daniels is the Pastor. She continues to serve in any way possible to see people touched by God and is enthusiastically willing to help in ministry. She has an anointing to minister to those in need of healing of the mind, body, and soul.
Throughout the course of her life, she has held various secular jobs and has broken barriers in male oriented jobs. She has worked in a glass factory, gas attendant, recycling company, security guard, car jockey, valet supervisor and heavy equipment operator.
With a growing desire to learn more about God’s word, she joined the Cumberland Bible Institute where she is currently attending to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. Some of her other academic accomplishments include Gary Whetstone School of Biblical Studies and Bishop Bernard Jordan School of the Prophets.
Elder Mitchell loves praising God and lifting up his name. Her favorite word is “Hallelujah” which she often says in admiration to God. She is a praise warrior, intercessor, and militant soldier in the Kingdom of God and is always ready to enter into battle to defeat the enemy.
