Joshua Generation
Mission
Joshua 1:9 - “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go”.
Joshua Generation is a remnant ministry comprised of believers who have a love for God and His people. Our mission is to reconcile young men and women back to Christ while teaching them how to walk by faith in this present world system. We will help groom a generation that will be ACTIVE rather than REACTIVE.
Participation
We welcome young men and women in grades 7th through 12th. Registration forms and contact information are required for each participant. Please see a JG liaison or email us at TheEmbassyJG@gmail.com
Leadership Opportunities
Our young adults feed off of our energy. As long as we are consistent, they will be consistent. All Joshua Generation participants will be included on a yearly schedule for leadership Youth Sundays at The Embassy.
Participation in leadership Youth Sundays build leadership skills, self-esteem, and public speaking skills.
Joshua Generation’s leadership team discusses and assigns young adults to run the order of service at The Embassy East at 9 am and the Embassy West at 11:30 am.
Participants will be informed of their assignments during Joshua Generation monthly meetings. A small leadership celebration will take place after each Youth Sunday service. This encourages young people’s involvement.
Support
We are dedicated to supporting our youth! If your child is playing a sport, acting in a play, or involved in other school related events, we will add their event to our calendar and celebrate their accomplishments.
Events
Joshua Generation will incorporate and host day trips, college tours, Bible study, rap sessions, community service programs, life skills, and workshops at least once a month. We will also help with job applications.
Scholarship
Joshua Generation is committed to raising funds to offset the cost of events for the youth. Since education is important to Joshua Generation, ten percent (10%) of all funds raised will go toward a worthy scholarship candidate. Applications and eligibility requirements will be available soon.
